Sport Restart + New Hairaccessoire for Workouts

Naaaaa, a ponytail is not my workout hairstyle. It is just the base for the bun I create finally. And that photo of me on the right is by now the only before-pic I want to show. The flue-whatever-virus was not nice to my looks, so I am not yet confident for all the honestly of much shorter clothes.

"Was hast du denn die ganzen Wochen gemacht, als du krank warst?"
"An einem super Vorher-Bild gearbeitet!"
Haha.
"What have you done in all the weeks being ill at home?"
"Working on a great before pic!"
Haha. And I watched Disney movies and generally shortened my watchlist. Even for reading I was too tired for long. And unfortunately for eating too. I lost almost 5kg which means everything I gained by training over the last year. So now it is the time to regain, because even though it is frustrating to have lost so much progress: I don't want to know where I would be without my fitness before this super nasty flue bug.

So I documented my status quo by measuring and weighing me, taking pictures and... ahhh, at least I tried to do the physical fitness test by Fitness Blender. Because I am still to weak for it. So I restart very slowly with longer walks with my dog, with fascial training with the black roll, with yoga stretching and moderate low-impact bodyweight exercises. I always keep in mind: my hair likes sports. Since I train regularly my bloodlevels around my iron are stable and even rising. Several doctors confirmed me that exercising can help to improve the resorbtion of nutrients. Well, this is motivation, isn't it?!

3. Die Frisur muss sehr schnell gemacht sein.
Talking about hair. There are three criteria which are obligatory for a workout hairstyle for me:
1. Everything must be out of the way and secure. I don't want to be annoyed by my hair, when I workout.
2. No friction of hair on clothes. Especially important for HIIT and running.
3. The hairstyle must be quick and easy.

So I bun my hair, because braids and ponytails rub on my clothes and are only okay for me for very calm black roll or yoga sessions. Otherwise braids are too damaging for my hair. I create my buns rather high on my crown, to have no bump at the back of my head, when I do exercises lieing on my back. If your hair is thicker and/or longer a braided bun at the back of your head can still be a comfortable solution as it is a bit like a pillow and pins or screws get buffered by the amount of hair and don't poke in your scalp, which is the case for thin hair buns.

My workout bun of choice in fact is a very simple LWB with a papanga base. With this telephone cable the ponytail is secured and with a hairfork all stays in place for every workout so far, running and jumping included. A hairstick alone is not secure enough, ficcare clips get achy easily and at least the clawclips I own are also not strong enough to really stay in place when I move around that much.
I don't use wooden forks for sports because sweat and eventual rain are not good for the material. I used to take my corian hairfork but it was terribly too long for my buns. Even though you got it right, praticability comes far before the looks when it comes to my personal decisions about workout hairstyles, me too I don't want to look as if I adorned my head with salad cutlery. So I am super happy about my new acrylic hairfork from Avilee Design which finally has the right size for my buns. And with three prongs it is even more secure. And I adore the fork. This icy look, like glass... That is why I also wear it pretty often in my daily updos. It is just too pretty to be functional only.

Definitely no look for sports but as mentioned: the fork is so pretty that I wear it in my daily hairstyles too.

Do you have a standard workout hairstyle or a hairaccessoire which stays secure with any moves? I have to admit that I guess I would only braid something special if I trained with other people. But as I workout at home or go running, I am rather lazy with my hairstyles for sports. But as mentioned above now with my new hairfork I feel way prettier than before.
