Flechtwerk: Pullthrough Braid

Oh you Instagram victim! Yes, I confess, we got our inspiration again from this community. So here are we Flechtwerk ladies with our versions of this easy, thick and secure braid, which works really with every hairtype. Head over to Nessa, Wuscheline, Lenja and Nixenhaar to see differnt hair with this style.

Hier meine kleine Zopf-Evolution

And this is my little pullthrough-evolution. Only my hair with textile elastics from the drugstore. okay, first attempt... could be labled as a fail. The elastics are too big for my hairtype, the braid turned out bent and looks a bit like a broken spine.

Next try with my clip-in extensions and again the textile elastics. And no french technique here as this is rather difficult with the clip-ins. But hey, this is how the braid is supposed to look! The shaddow is of course not perfect for documenting a braid, but I like it for the photo nevertheless.

And finally the pullthrough only with my own hair and tiny clear silicponme elastics. Not french, obsiously. Why not? Because I hate these elastics close to my head, it aches and I have difficulties to put them out afterwards without another person helping me. SO I only use these so low on my head, that I can see them in the mirror.

But pretty, isnt it? There are only two littel obnstacles for doing this braid: even segments to have all bobbles at the same size and in my case the braid always had a tendecny to slightly twist around itself while "braiding".

Next month Flechtwerk will talk about haircolour. Of course we are all different here and we all have different histories. That I really like my colour is striking obvious, when you remeber this blog's name. :)
