Ich hab euch doch gesagt, dass der 3D-Pullthroughbraid auch bei dünnem Haar echt was her macht. Tjaaa, ich wollte den ja an mir selbst üben. Aber wenn man schon mal bei Nessa ist, kann man auch die Gunst der Stunde nutzen und sie flechten lassen. Zumal ich mit diesen Silikongummis so nah am Kopf nach wie vor nichts anfangen kann. Ziepige kleine Biester.
Aber das Ergebnis ist toll, oder?
I just told you that the 3D-pullthroughbraid also looks wonderful on thin hair, didn't I? But haha, I wanted to practise this technique on my own head to show you. Well, as I had the opportunity to seize Nessa's skills I could postpone that part a bit. Even better to have her at my side to remove those mean little nasties (silicone hair ties) afterwards. But the result is worth the fumbling, right?

Aber Nessa sollte natürlich auch einen Zopf bekommen, den man schlecht an sich selbst flechten kann.
Wie ihr seht, ist es der Carouselbraid geworden und zwar mit sich windendem Viererzopf mit Band. An sich ist der Zopf nicht schwierig, wenn ihr einen Vierer-Lacebraid beherrscht, seid ihr quasio schon halb fertig. Nur Geduld braucht ihr für so einen Zopf, vor allem bei Nessas Länge. Ich habe über eine Stunde geflochten, wenn ich mich recht erinnere. Das Band ist 5 Meter lang und am Ende waren nur noch 50cm übrig. Ich hatte also gut zu tun.
But of course Nessa should have had an own braid which was difficult to braid on one's own head. As you see, we chose the carouselbraid with a tiny winding fourstrandbraid with ribbon. The technique is really not to sifficult. If you can braid a fourstrand lacebraid you are halfway through. But you need to be patient, especially with a hairlength as Nessa's. I braided over one hour if I am not mistaken... The ribbon is 5 meters long and we only had 50cm left in the end. So you can imagine that I was occupied for a while.

Und weil wir ja blöd sind und sowas nur aus Spaß an der Freude flechten, saßen wir dann da, nachts, mit unseren schicken Frisuren. Und weil Partymachen irgendwie nicht so auf dem Programm stand, haben wir eben Bilder gemacht. Mit dramatsichem, Licht. *Hust* Es war der Bewegungsmelder. Aber weiß ja keiner. Ach nee, doch, da war ja was.
Auf jeden Fall: Tolle Zöpfe, die sehr lang und sehr volumig werden. Am besten flechtet ihr das mit einer Freundin oder anderen Unterstützung, aber beide Zöpfe kann man auch an sich selbst flechten.
And because we are silly and just braided this because we love hairstyles, well, then we had our perfect hairstyles, sitting latenight in Nessa's livingroom - and then? Partytime? Not really, we were already tired and had too many things planned for the next day. So we took photos. Also some with "dramatic light". Okay, it is the frontdoor light in the driveway, but who knows?! Ah okay, you know now. I knew there was something about this blog and talking in public... :)
Anyways, both braids are easier when you have assitance, but you can braid them on your own head alone also.

Nessa hat übrigens vorgestern eine Videoanleitung für den normalen Pullthroughbraid hochgeladen. Also quasi den Kleiner-Bruder-Zopf von diesem hier. Der 3D-Pullthroughbraid soll folgen. Ich lauere auch schon darauf. Und daaaan, dann muss ich den wirklich mal an mir selbst flechten.

But the 3D-Pullthrough will follow. I am really looking forward to this tutorial. And then, yes then I really have to braid this style on my own haid. No more excuses.
Ihr solltet sowieso bei Nessa vorbei schauen. Vom Carouselbraid habe ich recht viel gezeigt, einfach auch weil... naja... der Zopf SOOOO beindruckend ist, er so viel Arbeit war und ich schon ein bisschen stolz bin, dass es am Ende auch mit der Quastenlänge gepasst hat. Aber ein paar Bilder hab ich mir dann doch geklemmt. Sind ja ihre Haare. Und ist ja fein, dass ich das geflochten habe, aber an sich sind es doch: Oh mein Gott! Diese HAARE! :D
Also: rüberklicken, bewundern, Videos schauen (und vergesst nicht die über die Pflege!), und einmal tief seufzen. Oder so.
Just as a longer subline: you just have to click over to haartraumfrisuren.de. I know I showed a lot of the crouselbraid, but just because, well, it was such a long work and I am a bit proud that it all turned out like I wanted it (not with a too long tassle or alike) and it is soooo stunning. But there are some pics I haven't shown. Because it is still Nessa's hair. And you know, all fine that I did the braiding, but basically it is just about: Oh my Gosh! Look at that HAIR! :D
