Instagram ist Schuld. Überhaupt in letzter Zeit an so vielem: Pfannkuchentürmchen, Bananeneis, Wovenfishtailbraids, Intricate-5-strand-Braids, Vorher-Nachher-Sport-Bilder... und in diesem Fall auch für diese Pullthrough-Braid-Variante. Nessa war total hibbelig, dass wir den auf jeden Fall!!! noch machen, wenn sie da ist. Und dass sie ihn gaaaanz bald posten muss "Sonst platze ich!".
Das wollen wir natürlich nicht. Wäre sehr schade drum. Und die Nessa und ihre Haare.
Da ist er also, Le Zopf. Mittwoch hatten wir ihn schon auf Instagram wegen einer Braidingchallenge, also falls ihr da unsere Spoiler schon gesehen habt... Instagram ist also auch Schuld am Spoilern. I blame Instagram! I mean I have to blame this app for a lot over the last time: pancakestacks, nicecream, wovenfishtailbraids, intricate-5-strand-braids, before-and-after-exercise-pics... and in this case: this pullthrough-braid variation. Nessa was freaking excited about this hairstyle and kept on mentioning that we definitely had to try this braid as long as she stayed at our home. And after we did so she proceeded to the next level of excitement stating every now and then that we had to post the braid as soon as possible. "Otherwise I'm gonna explode!" . And that would be such a pity. Poor Nessa. Poor hair, I mean.
Material
VIELE kleine Haargummis passend zur Haarfarbe. Je nach Haardicke Silikongummis oder dünne Textilgummis. Nessa brauchte sogar die größeren Textitlgummis. Bekommt ihr zum Beispiel bei dm. Kauft zwei Päckchen. Selbst ich brauche zwei. You need MANY hair elastics matching your haircolour. Depending on your hair's thickness you can chose between silicone hair ties or small fabric elastics. Nessa even needed the bigger fabric hair ties.
Haarvorraussetzungen
Länge und Dicke ist ziemlich egal, sobald ihr über einen Longbob hinaus seid. The length and thickness of your hair does not really matter for this braid as long as you are past longbog length.
Schwierigkeit
Etwas tricky. Ich bin irgendwie immer wieder durcheinander gekommen. Nessa hat für mich mitgesprochen, während ich an ihre geflochten habe.
Wir hsaben dabei nach diesem Tutorial gearbeitet. Ich stand hinter ihr "Hä, wie jetzt noch mal? In drei?", sie hat auf der Wiese gesessen und vom Smartphone für mich quasi übersetzt (nicht, dass ich kein Englisch könnte, aber irgendwie brauchte ich da doch Extra-Unterstützung). "Und jetzt die Strähnen nach vorne." "Oookay..." "Der Zopf ist ja lang genug, um das zu lernen."
War er. Difficulty: I say it is a little bit tricky. At least it was for me.I got easily cunfused with the several steps, but Nessa guided me through the styling. Nessa and I worked with this tutorial. I stood behind her "Wait... So I split this here, into... three?", she sat on the lawn watching the tutorial on her smartphone and somehow translated for me (not that I don't understand English, but well, soemhow I needed extra help). Und ich bleibe dabei. Das ist "Le Zopf". Riesig. Beeindruckend. Und noch dazu total gut haltbar durch die vielen Haargummifixierungen, obwohl er breit gezogen ist. And still. This is "Le Zopf" ("Le Braid"). Giant. Stunning. And in addition to that even so firm and neat even over a longer time as the many elastics secure the loops.
Ich verspreche, ich lerne den auch, um zu zeigen, was man für ein "Le Zöpfchen" damit aus dünnem Haar machen kann. :) Aber habt Geduld mit mir. Ich kämpfe immer noch ein bisschen mit dem regulären Pullthrough. I promise, I am going to learn this braid on my head too to show you how "Le braidlet" turns out on thinner hair. :) But be patient. I still struggle a bit with the regular pullthrough.
