Klar, keine Swarovksi-Kristalle wie beim Original, aber mein Rohling ist eine Gold Matte aus der Classical Kollektion, da kann man sowieso diese Steinchen nicht hinein versenken - außerdem sind die Swarovskis elend teuer. Ich habe mich für diese kleinen Steinchen hier entschieden, die es in der Papeterieabteilung meines Basttelladens (idee) in verschiedenen Farben gibt (Rico Design, Paper Poetry, Sticker). 3 oder 4 Euro kostet ein Blättchen mit 150 Steinchen darauf, wenn ich mich nicht verzählt habe. Ungefähr 150 habe ich für meine M-Ficcare auch gebraucht. Die Steinchen sind selbstklebend, haften sehr gut, lassen sich aber auch rückstandslos wieder abnehmen (falls es beim ersten Versuch nicht so klappt, wie ihr euch das vorstellt). Was ihr sonst noch braucht ist eine Pinzette und ein Skalpell. Letzteres, um die Steinchen vor dem Aufkleben von überstehenden Kleberresten zu trennen, sonst wird es unsauber. Seid an dem Punkt nicht faul, das sieht sonst nicht schön aus. Und nach etwa zweieinhalb Stunden Arbeit kann das dann so aussehen - voilá!

My new handmade - okay, handpimped! - diamond ficcare. No original Swarovski crystals, but as theses crystals are really really expensive and my blank workpiece was a gold matte ficcare from the classical collection without the tiny holes in it for the original crystals, well therefore I decided to work with these tiny stickers I found at my crafting shop in the stationery section. These crystals are meant to decorate paperwork, but they really well work for metal ficcares as well. And they are much cheaper with only 3 or 4 Euro for a sheet with 150 little stickers. And I needed around 150 pieces to decorate me M-sized ficcare here. Besides the crystals I only needed a pair of tweezers and a scalpel. The scalpel is neccessary to remove glue around the crystals before placing them on the ficcare. Don't be lazy at that point, otherwise your product will look a bit, well, gluey and not neat. And you need around two and a half hour of concentrated work. Don't be afraid, the glue is strong enough to keep the crystals save in place, but you can remove them without causing damage to your precious ficcare, if your first attempt won''t satisfy you. Have a try! Et voilá!
Ich bin sehr glücklich, habe ich doch jetzt endlich eine Ficcare in meiner Lieblingsfarbe. :)
