Zack, Advent! So schnell kann's gehen. Damit ihr eure Haare auch über die Feiertage passend aufhübschen könnt, haben wir von Flechtwerk - das sind Nessa, Zoey, Wuscheline, Lenja, Bobbly und ich - uns für diesen Monat einem passenden Thema verschrieben:
Whoosh, and it is almost Christmas! Tempus fugit... But Nessa, Zoey, Wuscheline, Bobbly, Lenja and I did our best with this month Flechtwerktopic to be a helping hand so that you don't have to spend Christmas and New Year's Eve with (unvoluntarily) messy hair. So here we are with:
Die meisten Menschen tragen ja nur goldenen oder nur silbernen Schmuck. Ich gehöre zu denen, die sowohl warme, als auch kalte Farben und somit beide Metallemögen und dankenswerter Weise auch gut tragen können. Und Glitzerkram mag ich auch - nicht zu viel, aber grundsätzlich schon. Also habe ich für euch einfach mal meine zum Thema passenden Accessoires abgelichtet, vielleicht ist da ja schon etwas bei, was euch inspiriert.
Most people only wear silver or golden jewellery. I am one of the lucky girls who can wear both. And glitter is something I really like too when it comes to accessoires. Not too much, but here and there a bit... So I decided to make a collage of my hairtoys and matching accessoires I posses. Maybe you spot something that inspires you.
Ich bin Ficcare-Liebhaber. Und ich muss gestehen, dass ich ziemlich froh bin meine Sammlung komplettiert zu haben, bevor die Firma beschlossen hat fast nur noch diese in meinen Augen unansehnlichen Acetat-Spangen zu fertigen und die "guten alten" Emaille-Spangen (oder Lack oder was auch immer...) einfach nicht mehr nachzuproduzieren. Es gibt zwei drei Modelle, die ich noch gern hätte, aber sonst bin ich mit meiner Sammlung sehr glücklich. Und ja, ich trage die alle. Und ich habe noch eine einige bunte Spangen mehr als auf diesen Gold& Glitter-Fotos abgelichtet sind.
As you see I am a real ficcare-lover. And I have toadmit that I am very happy, that I have completed my collection before ficcare decided to stop reproducing the old louts, calssic and so on models. At the time, there are only the acetats available which - sorry - are in my eyes really cheap looking. And I guess thats the point: they are cheaper to produce than the older collections with polish (or emaille?). There are two or three models that would be nice to have, but, well, I can live without them. And yes, I wear them all. And I have some more than those you see on these Gold&Glitter pics.
Ich weiß nicht, wie es bei euch ist, aber ich habe über die Feiertage 4 Feierlichkeiten zu bestücken:
Schwiegerfamilienweihnachten, eigene Familie Weihnachten, Opa Geburtstag und Silvester.
I don't know how you are celebrating the holidays, but I have to cover 4 events with festive hairstyles: family-in-law-christmas, own-family-christmas, Grandpa's birthday and New Year's Eve.

Dieses Mal gibt's mich nur ohne Gesicht, da ich seit ein paar Wochen vor mich hin kränkel und meine Augenringe nicht prominent im Internet verbreiten mag...

Also, einen Weihnachtsfeiertag verbringen wir hier, da sind wir Gastgeber. Da müssen die Haare hoch und aus dem Weg. Unsere Wohnung ist eher voll, obwohl wir schon SOOOO viel entrümpelt haben und das letzte was ich will, ist ein Kerzenunfall.
Ich habe mich entschlossen eine Zopfkrone zu tragen und diese mit einem goldenen Garn etwas festlicher zu machen. Diese Frisur hatte ich schon zur Firmenweihnachtsfeier quasi einmal probegetragen. Sie ist stabil und sah auch nach einem Arbeitstag noch gut aus.
One of the christmas celebrations will take place at our home. Therfore my hair must be out of the way. Even though we cleaned out and tidied up our flat Thaaaat much during the last month, we still have a bit too many furnitures for the size of our flat, so... I want to say it will be a sitting party, no dancing here. ;) And the last I want is a candle accident with hair down or in a braid only because there are four people and a dog moving around between decoration and food.
I decided to wear a crown braid with parandi and pimp it a bit with golden yarn. I wore that hairstyle before on our publisher's christmas celebration. The style has a very firm hold and endures a whole working day easily and still looks good in the evening.
Ein weiterer Weihnachtstag wird bei der Schwiegerfamilie verbracht. Hierfür brauche ich eine Frisur, die ich im Sitzen nicht im Rücken hängen habe. Denn ich werdie meiste Zeit sitzen. Im Auto,dann am Tisch, dann auf der Couch. Hierfür habe ich mich für einen seitlichen flachen Viererzopf entschieden.
Another christams day will be spent at my family-in-law's. Therefore I need a hairstyle which won't be annoying when I sit. Because that will be my task for the day: sitting. Sitting in the car, sitting on the sofa, sitting at the table and then again sitting on the sofa, than in the car...
I decided to wear a sideswept four starnded braid that day.
Dann der Opa-Geburtstag. Traditionell gehen wir an diesem Tag essen. Also wieder sitzen, wenig rumlaufen. Dafür habe ich einen volumigen Messydutt geplant. Den gibt es dann zu sehen, wenn es soweit ist. Wie erwähnt sehe ich derzeit nicht ganz so vorzeigbar aus und mag meinem teint und meinem Schopf noch ein bisschen zeit geben, um wieder zu strahlen.
Than there is Grandpa's birthday. Traditionally we go out to eat on this day. So again: more sitting less walking. A big, messy, hippielike bun is what I want to go for. I will show it, when it comes to the event, because, as already mentioned, I löook not that good at the moemnt and want to give my hair and my teint a bit lore time to glow again.
Und Silvester! Mit Freunden. Sitzend, stehend, rumlaufend, Feuerzangenbowle, Bleigießen. Zumindest vielleicht. Das Geböllere überlasse ich anderen, aber auch ohne gibt es genügend gefahrenquellen an dem Tag für sehr langes offenes Haar, von daher werden sie auch dann hochgesteckt. Da ich offenes Haar aber einfacxh schön finde, wird es wohl mein Standard LWB werden, den kann ich schnell öffnen und wieder neu frisieren, wenn ich mich doch mit "imemr nur Dutt" zu langweilig finden sollte. Genug aufwertenden Haarschmuck habe ich ja auf jeden Fall.
And New Year's Eve! We will party at friends' (I think so, by the time I write this we don't know where we will celebrate the new year). We will sit and walk, and talk, a stand and maybe play twister as last year. Fireworks are nothing to please me, others can do that, if they like, I don't. But even without fireworks there is still a hiogher risk for fire accidents, so I will wear my hair up in a bun. Hm. But I like mny hair down. So I will wear a normal LWB, a hairstyle ease to do and undone, so that I can wear my hair down if I feel to boring with "always the same bun" that day. Nice hairaccessoires are at hand, so nor problem. :)
