Hier kommt die Braut, hier kommt die Braut...! *sing*
Naja, zumindest fast. ;)
Oh, ich bin glücklich, so langsam nimmt mein Traum einer Hochzeitsfrisur Gestalt an: ich habe die Haarlänge und -masse durch die richtigen Tressen, die Farbe habe ich angeglichen und jetzt klappt es auch endlich mit den gewünschten Locken.

Okay, almost. ;)
But I am so happy that my dream hairstyle for my wedding finally seems to come true. With the clip-ins I have the length and volume I wanted, the colour matches now perfectly well and - finally! - I am able to create the curls I had in mind.
Meine Kollegin Annika hat mir ihren Lockenstab geliehen. Und damit bekomme ich endlich die Locken hin, die mir vorschweben und das auch noch in einer annehmbaren Zeit. Ich brauche etwa 30min für den gesamten Kopf, kein Vergleich zu den ingesamt 8 Stunden Vorbereitungszeit bei Kreppwicklern: Waschen, antrocknen, aufwickeln, durchtrocknen, abwickeln... und dann noch das Risiko, dass die Haare nicht durchgetrocknet sind und die Locken sich sofort aushängen. Nein. Haarschonung hin oder her, für meine Hochzeit müssen sie das Hitzestyling abkönnen.
My dear collegue Annika lend me her curling iron and with that tool I am able to make curls in an adequate time. Sorry about haircare, but for my wedding I can't work heatless, as all other possibilities take too much time and/or are too prone to fail. The curls from kitchen paper were nice but to be honest: who has about 8 hours time for that? Ona wedding day? I don't.
Ich finde das Ergebnisschon ganz weit vorne! Da geht noch was, aber wenn es letztlich so aussehen sollte, dann bin ich schon glücklich. :)
I am really happy with the result! There is still some progress possible, but even if it would turn out like this on my wedding, everything would be finde.
Und noch mal schnell ein weißes Handtuch umgehängt als Hochzeitskleidattrappe.
Das wird, nein, das ist schon! Links hängen sich die Locken etwas mehr aus, da habe ich angefangen und war noch sehr vorsichtig. Rechts sind sie super.
And here I grabbed a white towel to simulate a white dress. ;) Oh that's nice! Well on the left the curls are longer, because I started curling there and was very careful with the time then, but I will practise this again.
Mein Diadem ist zwischenzeitlich auch hier angekommen. Auch dieses gute Stück braucht noch etwas Feinschliff, aber dann kann ich erneut testen, mit Häkelkleid an und noch mal mit Locken.
Stylingprodukte habe ich auch schon hier, auch das will getestet werden, zwecks verbesserter Haltbarkeit.
And finally my tiara has arrived this week! Well it takes a bit of pimping too, but I am already pretty close to what I really want. Styling products are also at hand to look how I can make the curls last longer. So I can practise again, as soon as I want.
Joah. Und nun steht der Entschluss: es wird nichts an meinem eigenen Haar geschnitten bis zur Hochzeit. So fügt sich das Eigenhaar einfach besser ein und je verwachsener die Schnittkante bis dahin ist, desto besser. Trimmen kann ich danach immer noch.*
Well and now after theses results I have come to a final decision: I won't cut or trimm my hair till my wedding. Like this my hair blends in perfectly. The more grown out my hemline is, the better in this case. And I can still start cutting ater the wedding.*

* Wer mich kennt, der weiß, dass ich solche Pläne dann gern wieder umwerfe. Ich garantiere also für nix. Aber an sich denke ich, ist der Plan gar nicht so schlecht. :)
