Und da ist sie, wie versprochen, meine Elfenkrone:
Ich habe wirklich SEHR lange nach passendem Haarschmuck gesucht. Über ein halbes Jahr und zwar ziemlich kontinuierlich.
Meine wichtigsten Suchkriterein waren:
* Roségold oder Kupfer (und das war am schwersten)
* kein Strass, der nach Plastik aussehen könnte
* kein Haarreif (der drückt)
* elfenhaft sollte es sein, filigran und zart
* und bezahlbar.
Schätzt mal, was solcher Brautkopfschmuck in der Regel kostet. Mich schockt ja nichts mehr, Hochzeitsausgaben sind wirklich wüst, wenn irgendwas mal nicht mehrfach dreistellig kostet, dann kann man sich schon beglückwünschen.
Also, normal sind Preise zwischen 200 und 400€ für hochwertigen Haarschmuck in Form eines Haarbandes, einer Korne oder einem Diadem. Wie gesagt, alles, was nach Plastik aussieht, kommt mir sowieso nicht auf den Kopf. Kämmchen und Spängchen sind erschwinglicher, aber nur unwesentlich.
Ja, es geht günstiger. Aber ich bin da pingelig und bei der Qualität wenig kompromissbreit. Und dass mein Geschmnack zielstrebig zum Teuersten geht, das ist irgendwie auch nichts Neues mehr.
Schnell war deshalb klar, dass ich jenseits von Swarocksi und Co. suchen würde. Und zwar lieber bei Etsy und Dawanda. Dort bin ich ja dann auch fündig geworden.

Celefindel macht sehr unterschiedliche Dinge. Die Diademe gefallen mir dabei mit Abstand am besten. Der Kontakt war super und die Passform stimmt genau, denn die Tiara wurde extra auf meine Kopfmaße angefertigt. Auch mein Wunsch, möglichst kleine Blättchen zu verwenden, konnte umgesetzt werden.
Inklusive Versand aus Österreich lagen wir bei knapp über 50€. Für eine Maßanfertigung. Und für genau das, was ich mir vorgestellt habe. Eine Elfenkrone.
Ich bin sehr glücklich mit dem Schmuck, auch wenn ich weiß, dass er wirklich sehr "Geschmacksache" ist. :)
Tragebilder gibt es, wenn ich wieder Frisuren übe. :)
And here it is, my wedding tiara!
I was really, really on a long quest for it. Because it had to fullfill severeal aspects:
* rosegold or copper (the most difficult part)
* no glitter which could look like plastic
* no headband which could ache behind the ears
* elvenlike and fragile it should be
* and please, I want to be able to pay it without going bankrupt
Just make a guess and estiamte how expensive wedding hair jewellery normally is. You cannot shock me any longer with the prices of wedding stuff. You are really lucky if you find something that does not cost severel hundert euros.
So, well, crowns and tiaras normally cost about 200 to 400€ if you want good quality. Of course you can have it cheaper but there is no point for compromises when it comes to quality. For me. And that I am like a dowsing rod for the most expensive articles available, hm, that's nothing new any more. ;)
So quickly it was clear that I had to look elsewhere, away from Swarovski and Co. So I wandered to Etsy and Dawanda. And found what I was looking for.

Celefindel makes different things, but I really like the tiaras best. Contact was nice and friendly, always helpful and so we arranged a custom order, perfectly fitting my (big) head ;) and with wonderful tiny leaves I hoped for. For a bit more than 50€ we made the deal, shipping included.
I am very happy with my crown, even though I know that it is very much something you must like - or not. ;)
