Erfunden hat diesen Dutt Cini.Mini aus dem Langhaarnetzwerk, dorther habe ich auch die Basisanleitung. Und natürlich könnt ihr auch dort mal gucken, was die andere User so daraus gemacht haben. Der Dutt ist derzeit recht populär.

Cini.Mini of the the Langhaarnetzwerk invented the chameleon bun. I got the basis instructions from there, where the bun is quite popular at the moment. Of course you can look there too what the other users have made of this bun.

Haarvoraussetzungen:
Besser nicht zu dick, sonst ist sicherlich der Daumen zu kurz (war bei mir schon fummelig).
An sich aber auch nicht zu dünn, der Dutt ist selbst mit mitteldickem Haar extrem klein.
Also: egal wie eure Haare sind, leicht wird das nicht.
Länge: je nach Dicke ab BSL bis Taille, würde ich schätzen.
Your hair should not be too thick, because otherwise it can be difficult with the loop over your thumb. But also not too thin hair, because this bun is even with medium hair rather puny.
So in fact it does not matter how thick your hair is: the bun will be difficult.
Length: depending on your thickness you need BSL or waistlength. Longer always works.
Was ihr sonst noch braucht:
Haargummi für die Zopfbasis
Haarforke oder Stab (besser schmale Forke, es rutscht tierisch)
Nerven.
You need a scrunchie for the ponytailbase, a hairfork or hairstick. I highly recommand a two-prong-fork, the bun is pretty slippery).
And you need strong nerves.
Schwierigkeitsgrad:
Für mich 3 von 5 Sternen. ;) Das Wickelmuster ist einfach, tricky wird es aber bei dem Versuch die Daumenschlaufe nicht zu verlieren und außerdem sackt das Ding eben gern ab.
Difficulty: I would say 3 of 5 stars. ;) The wrapping scheme is not that bad, but it becomes tricky trying not to lose the loop around your thumb. And as I already said: that thing tends to be pretty slippery and want's to gow down your neck.
Anleitung:
Hohen (!) Pferdeschwanz binden. Wirklich eher hoch, der Dutt sackt auch so noch mehr als genug ab.
Greif den Pferdeschwanz mit der rechten Hand, der Zopf baumelt über dem Daumen.
Gather your hair in a high ponytail. Really high! The bun will drop down to the neck, believe me.
Grab the ponytail with your right hand between thumb and indexfinger.
Zopf mit der linken Hand greifen. Ein C wickeln: über den Daumen klappen, links an der Zopfbasis vorbei, hinter dem Zeigefinger her, loslassen. Der Zopf baumelt über oder rechts der Basis herum.
Grab the ponytail with your left hand and wrap a C-shape: over the thumb downwards, left up, behind the indexfinger to the right and let go. Your hair hangs down right of or over the base.
Zopf neu greifen und zwischen Zeigefinger und Daumen nach links führen, über die Zopfbasis.
Hoch und hinter dem Zeigefinger her wickeln.
Ab jetzt wird die Restlänge um die Basis aufgewickelt.
Grab the ponytail again and go between thumb and indexfinger to the left, over the base.
Take it high and wrap it behind the indexfinger.
From now on you only wrap the remaining length around the base of the bun.

Weil der Dutt bei mir sehr klein wird, muss ich die Schlaufen auseinader ziehen, damit ich die Forke überhaupt durch den ganzen Dutt schieben kann.
Because the bun is so tiny in my case I have to pull at the loops. Otherwise no chance to insert the fork through the whole bun. |
Da ich Rechtshänder bin und mit links einfach keinen Haarschmuck gescheit platzieren kann, greife ich hier nun um und wechsle den Dutt von der linken in die rechte Hand. Ihr könnt natürlich auch gleich spiegelverkehrt wickeln. Ich konnte es nicht...
Because I am righthanded and my left hand is really untalanted to work with hairtoys, I switch the bun from my right hand to the left hand now to insert the fork with my preferred right hand. Of course you can also bun your hair mirror-imgage - but I couldn't...
Nehmt die Forke und stecht von der oberen Schlaufe durch den Dutt, hinterm Haargummi her und aus der unteren Schlaufe wieder heraus.
Insert the fork in the upper loop, go down under the base and come out through the lower loop.
Tada! Schöne Schlaufen, die irgendwie schief im Nacken hängen. Vorteilhaft und hübsch ist anders. Und so winzig! In dem Dutt ist schon eine Tresse verbaut, weil ich bei meinen vorherigen Versuchen geradezu schockiert war, wie klein das Knötchen geworden war.
Tada! Nice loops but somehow the bun moved down the neck even though I had a scrunchie at my base. Does not look good in my eyes. So puny... and in this bun here is already one clip-in hidden! The testversions without fake-hair were supertiny.
Also zieht ihr nun die Forke wieder heraus, für einen "spektakulären" Bundropeffekt...
So you pull out the fork for a spectacular - haha - bundrop...
...wickelt alternativ einen LWB und seid glücklich, weil der einfach ist, immer klappt, viel größer ausieht und nicht so doof abrutscht. :)
... and make a LWB instead and be happy, because this bun always works, looks much bigger and does not move down to your neck. :)
